Department of Homeland Security Classified Facility Inventory Act

Sec. 2 Inventory

(a)
changed In general— The Secretary of Homeland Security, acting through the Chief Security Officer of shall, to the Department of Homeland Security, shall—extent practicable—
(1)
changed maintain an inventory of all those Department of Homeland Security facilities certified by that the Department certifies to host house classified infrastructure or systems classified above at the Secret level; andsecret level and above;
(2)
changed update such inventory on a regular basis.basis; and
(3)
added share part or all of such inventory with—
(A)
added Department personnel who have been granted the appropriate security clearance;
(B)
added non-Federal governmental personnel who have been granted a Top Secret security clearance; and
(C)
added other personnel as determined appropriate by the Secretary.
(b)
changed Contents—Inventory— The inventory required under of facilities described in subsection (a) shall include the location of such facilities, an identification of the entities operating such facilities, and date of establishment of such facilities.may include—
(1)
added the location of such facilities;
(2)
added the attributes of such facilities (including the square footage of, the total capacity of, the number of workstations in, and the number of conference rooms in, such facilities);
(3)
added the entities that operate such facilities; and
(4)
added the date of establishment of such facilities.
(c)
removed Dissemination— The Chief Security Officer of the Department of Homeland Security, in coordination with the Under Secretary for Intelligence and Analysis of the Department, may share part or all of the inventory carried out under this section, in accordance with standard information sharing procedures and policies, with the following:
(1)
removed Appropriate Department component agencies and field personnel.
(2)
removed Appropriate State, local, tribal, and territorial personnel eligible to apply for a Top Secret security clearance sponsored by the Department.
