Section 1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the “Icebreaker Act”.
Icebreaker Act
A BILL
To authorize the Secretary of the Navy to enter into a contract for the procurement of heavy icebreakers.
Sec. 2 Navy procurement of heavy icebreakers
The Secretary of the Navy, in consultation with the Secretary of the department in which the Coast Guard is operating, may enter into a contract for the procurement of not more than three heavy icebreakers and not more than three medium icebreakers.
