CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

That it is the sense of Congress that the final rule issued on May 23, 2016, by the Secretary of Labor entitled “Defining and Delimiting the Exemptions for Executive, Administrative, Professional, Outside Sales and Computer Employees” (81 Fed. Reg. 32391)—
(1)
would provide more than 13,000,000 workers with greater economic security;
(2)
was created through the legally valid exercise of the congressionally delegated authority of the Secretary of Labor under the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938; and
(3)
should be defended and enforced with due haste.
