American Energy Innovation Act

To provide for investment in clean energy, to empower and protect consumers, to modernize energy infrastructure, to cut pollution and waste, to invest in research and development, and for other purposes.

Section 1 Short title; table of contents

(a)

Short title— This Act may be cited as the “American Energy Innovation Act”.

(b)

Table of contents— The table of contents for this Act is as follows:

Sec. 2 Definitions

In this Act:

Department— The term Department means the Department of Energy.

(2)

Secretary— Except as otherwise provided in this Act, the term Secretary means the Secretary of Energy.
