Oregon Wildlands Act

A BILL

To designate certain land administered by the Bureau of Land Management and the Forest Service in the State of Oregon as wilderness and national recreation areas and to make additional wild and scenic river designations in the State of Oregon, and for other purposes.

Section 1 Short title; table of contents

(a)

Short title— This Act may be cited as the “Oregon Wildlands Act”.

(b)

Table of contents— The table of contents of this Act is as follows:

Sec. 2 Definitions

In this Act:

(1)

Secretary— The term Secretary means—

(A)

the Secretary of the Interior, with respect to public land administered by the Secretary of the Interior; or

(B)

the Secretary of Agriculture, with respect to National Forest System land.

(2)

State— The term “State” means the State of Oregon.
