This Act may be cited as the “No Lobbyists on Presidential Transition Teams Act”.
No Lobbyists on Presidential Transition Teams Act
A BILL
To amend the Presidential Transition Act of 1963 to prohibit the use of funds provided to the President-elect and the Vice President-elect under such Act for any services or facilities provided by registered lobbyists.
Sec. 2 Prohibiting use of Presidential transition funds for services or facilities provided by lobbyists
Section 3 of the Presidential Transition Act of 1963 (3 U.S.C. 102 note) is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection:
“(i) No payment may be made under the authority of this section for services or facilities provided by any person who is a registered lobbyist under the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 (2 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.).”
