This Act may be cited as the “Inclusive Campuses Act”.
Inclusive Campuses Act
A BILL
To amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to authorize the use of title III funds for the establishment of LGBTQ resource centers.
Sec. 2 Grants for LGBTQ resource centers
Part G of title III of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1068 et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following:
“399A. Availability of funds for LGBTQ resource centers
“Notwithstanding any other provision of this title, an institution that receives funds under this title may use a portion of such funds to establish an on-campus resource center that provides—
“(1) support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer students; and
“(2) programming and education about such students to the entire campus community.”
