Menstrual Products for Employees Act of 2016
A BILL
To amend the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 to require employers to provide menstrual hygiene products for employees in workplace bathrooms.
Sec. 2 Menstrual hygiene products
Section 6 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (29 U.S.C. 655) is amended by adding at the end the following:
“(h) The Secretary shall by rule promulgate a requirement that each employer provide menstrual hygiene products free of charge for employees in the bathrooms of the employer.”
