Section 1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the “Fix the Footnotes Act of 2015”.
Fix the Footnotes Act of 2015
A BILL
To make technical amendments to title 18 of the United States Code based on the Law Revision Counsel’s footnotes in that title.
Sec. 2 Rule of construction
Except as otherwise expressly provided, whenever in this Act an amendment or repeal is expressed in terms of an amendment to, or repeal of, a section or other provision, the reference shall be considered to be made to a section or other provision of title 18, United States Code.
Sec. 3 Table of chapters for part I
The table of chapters for part I is amended—
in the item relating to chapter 11B, by striking “Weapons” and inserting “weapons”;
in the item relating to chapter 39, by striking “and combustibles” and inserting “and other dangerous articles”;
by inserting after the item relating to chapter 118 the following new item:
