A BILL

Section 1 Authority to withhold Federal financial assistance

A Governor of a State may withhold Federal financial assistance (as such term is defined in section 7501(a)(5) of title 31, United States Code) from a unit of local government in that State that has not complied with the immigration laws (as such term is defined in section 101 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101)), as determined by the Governor.
