Stop Birth Tourism Act of 2015
A BILL
To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to provide that certain aliens who are pregnant are ineligible to receive visas and ineligible to be admitted to the United States, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Restriction on the admissibility of certain aliens who are pregnant
“(11) Pregnancy
“(A) In general—In the case of an alien seeking admission to the United States as a nonimmigrant under section 101(a)(15)(B), a consular officer or the Secretary of State may require that the alien provide a certification from a healthcare provider that the alien is not pregnant, or, if the alien is pregnant, as to the status of the pregnancy.
“(B) Inadmissibility—An alien seeking admission to the United States as a nonimmigrant under section 101(a)(15)(B) who a consular officer or the Secretary of State determines under subparagraph (A) is pregnant, and if admitted to the United States, is likely to give birth in the United States, is inadmissible.”
