H. Res. 765 (Introduced in House) — Recognizing the 40th anniversary of passage of the Solar Energy Research, Development, and Demonstration Act of 1974.

That—

(1)

the House of Representatives—

(A)

calls upon the people of the United States to recognize the 40th anniversary of the passage of the Solar Energy Research, Development, and Demonstration Act of 1974; and

(B)

recognizes the vital research and work that has been and is currently being done at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory to improve renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies across the United States; and

(2)

it is the sense of the House of Representatives that the United States should make a commitment to provide adequate funding to support the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as it continues to provide important research for new clean energy technologies to benefit the citizens of the United States.
