RESOLUTION

That the House of Representatives—

(1)

expresses its support for the proposed minute to address trash, sediment, and water quality between the United States and Mexico’s respective sections of the International Boundary and Water Commission;

(2)

commends the USIBWC, the Tijuana River Valley Recovery Team, and local environmental organizations for their leadership in addressing these issues; and

(3)

reaffirms its commitment to continue its partnerships with Mexico on protecting the transnational watersheds.
