To redesignate the lock and dam located in Modoc, Illinois, commonly known as the Kaskaskia Lock and Dam, as the Jerry F. Costello Lock and Dam, and for other purposes.

Section 1 Redesignation

The lock and dam located in Modoc, Illinois, authorized by the Act entitled “An Act authorizing the construction, repair, and preservation of certain public works on rivers and harbors, and for other purposes”, approved July 3, 1930 (46 Stat. 927), and commonly known as the Kaskaskia Lock and Dam, is redesignated as the “Jerry F. Costello Lock and Dam”.

Sec. 2 References

Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the lock and dam referred to in section 1 shall be deemed to be a reference to the “Jerry F. Costello Lock and Dam”.
