§322. Annual appropriation — Inbound Citations

  • There is appropriated annually, out of funds in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for payment to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands of the United States, Guam, American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau the amount they would be entitled to receive under this subchapter if they were States. Sums appropriated under this section shall be treated in the same manner and be subject to the same provisions of law, as would be the case if they had been appropriated by the first sentence of section 322 of this title.
  • (1) The Secretary shall make grants to each college or university eligible to receive funds under the Act of August 30, 1890 (commonly known as the Second Morrill Act; 7 U.S.C. 322 [321] et seq.), including Tuskegee University, for purposes of awarding scholarships to individuals who—
    (A) have been accepted for admission at such college or university;
    (B) will be enrolled at such college or university not later than one year after the date of such acceptance; and
    (C) intend to pursue a career in the food and agricultural sciences, including a career in—
    (i) agribusiness;
    (ii) energy and renewable fuels; or
    (iii) financial management.
  • (B) $1,200,000 to fund grants to colleges for the benefit of agriculture and the mechanic arts referred to in section 322 of title 7; and
