Sec. 2001 Reconciliation in the Senate
Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs— The Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs of the Senate shall report changes in laws within its jurisdiction to reduce the deficit by not less than $600,000,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2022 through 2031.
Energy and Natural Resources— The Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate shall report changes in laws within its jurisdiction to reduce the deficit by not less than $600,000,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2022 through 2031.
Environment and Public Works— The Committee on Environment and Public Works of the Senate shall report changes in laws within its jurisdiction to reduce the deficit by not less than $600,000,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2022 through 2031.
Finance— The Committee on Finance of the Senate shall report changes in laws within its jurisdiction to reduce the deficit by not less than $1,400,000,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2022 through 2031.
Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions— The Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions of the Senate shall report changes in laws within its jurisdiction to reduce the deficit by not less than $1,400,000,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2022 through 2031.
Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs— The Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate shall report changes in laws within its jurisdiction to reduce the deficit by not less than $900,000,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2022 through 2031.
Indian Affairs— The Committee on Indian Affairs of the Senate shall report changes in laws within its jurisdiction to reduce the deficit by not less than $75,000,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2022 through 2031.
Intelligence— The Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate shall report changes in laws within its jurisdiction to reduce the deficit by not less than $75,000,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2022 through 2031.
Judiciary— The Committee on the Judiciary of the Senate shall report changes in laws within its jurisdiction to reduce the deficit by not less than $150,000,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2022 through 2031.
Rules and Administration— The Committee on Rules and Administration of the Senate shall report changes in laws within its jurisdiction to reduce the deficit by not less than $1,000,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2022 through 2031.
Veterans Affairs— The Committee on Veterans Affairs of the Senate shall report changes in laws within its jurisdiction to reduce the deficit by not less than $300,000,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2022 through 2031.
Submissions— In the Senate, not later than December 31, 2021, the committees named in subsections (a) through (k) shall submit their recommendations to the Committee on the Budget of the Senate. Upon receiving such recommendations, the Committee on the Budget of the Senate shall report to the Senate a reconciliation bill carrying out all such recommendations without any substantive revision.
