Title VI — Miscellaneous

The provisions of this Act and the amendments made by this Act shall take effect on the date that is 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act.

A case commenced under title 11, United States Code, before the date that is 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, and all matters and proceedings in or relating to any such case, shall be conducted and determined as if this Act had not been enacted, and the substantive rights of parties in connection with any such bankruptcy case, matter, or proceeding shall continue to be governed by the law applicable to such case, matter, or proceeding as if the Act had not been enacted.

If any provision of this Act, an amendment made by this Act, or the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstance is held to be invalid or unconstitutional, the remainder of this Act, the amendments made by this Act, and the application of such provisions to any person or circumstance shall not be affected thereby.
