Sec. 201 Research with respect to violence
In general— The Secretary of Health and Human Services, in consultation with the Director of the National Institutes of Health, shall expand and intensify research on self-directed and other-directed violence associated with mental illness and substance abuse disorders.
Limitations on authorization of appropriations— To carry out subsection (a), there are authorized to be appropriated $100,000,000 without fiscal year limitation, which is authorized to remain available until expended.
