IV Maintaining levels of service

Sec. 401 Six-day delivery

Section 404a(a) of title 39, United States Code, is amended—
(1)
in paragraph (2), by striking “or” at the end;
(2)
in paragraph (3), by striking the period and inserting “; or”; and
(3)
by adding at the end the following:

“(4) reduce the frequency of the delivery of mail to fewer than 6 days each week.”

Sec. 402 Service standards for market-dominant products

Section 3691 of title 39, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:

“(e) Restriction on authority—Notwithstanding subsections (a), (b), and (c), the Postal Service may not increase the expected delivery time for market-dominant products required under part 121 of title 39, Code of Federal Regulations, as in effect on March 2, 2010.”
