# §99. Separability


If any provision of this chapter or the application thereof to any [person](/usc/7/92.md?p=k) or circumstances is held invalid, the validity of the remainder of the chapter and of the application of such provisions to other [persons](/usc/7/92.md?p=k) and circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
