# §8319. Surveillance of zoonotic diseases


The [Secretary](/usc/7/8302.md?p=14) of Health and Human Services, through the Commissioner of Food and Drugs and the Director of the Centers for [Disease](/usc/7/8302.md?p=3) Control and Prevention, and the [Secretary](/usc/7/8302.md?p=14) of Agriculture shall coordinate the surveillance of zoonotic [diseases](/usc/7/8302.md?p=3).
