# §7757. Severability


If any provision of [this chapter](/usc/7/7702.md?p=19) or application of any provision of [this chapter](/usc/7/7702.md?p=19) to any [person](/usc/7/7702.md?p=12) or circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of [this chapter](/usc/7/7702.md?p=19) and the application of the provision to other [persons](/usc/7/7702.md?p=12) and circumstances shall not be affected by the invalidity.
