# §7718. Certification for exports


The [Secretary](/usc/7/7702.md?p=16) may certify as to the freedom of [plants](/usc/7/7702.md?p=13), [plant products](/usc/7/7702.md?p=15), or [biological control organisms](/usc/7/7702.md?p=2) from [plant pests](/usc/7/7702.md?p=14) or [noxious weeds](/usc/7/7702.md?p=10), or the exposure of [plants](/usc/7/7702.md?p=13), [plant products](/usc/7/7702.md?p=15), or [biological control organisms](/usc/7/7702.md?p=2) to [plant pests](/usc/7/7702.md?p=14) or [noxious weeds](/usc/7/7702.md?p=10), according to the phytosanitary or other requirements of the countries to which the [plants](/usc/7/7702.md?p=13), [plant products](/usc/7/7702.md?p=15), or [biological control organisms](/usc/7/7702.md?p=2) may be exported.
