# §7423. Effect on other laws


This subchapter shall not affect or preempt any other Federal or [State](/usc/7/7412.md?p=15) law authorizing [promotion](/usc/7/7412.md?p=12) or [research](/usc/7/7412.md?p=13) relating to an [agricultural commodity](/usc/7/7412.md?p=1).
