# §7257. Authority to assist in establishment and maintenance of one or more export trading companies


The [Secretary](/usc/7/7202.md?p=13) of Agriculture shall, consistent with the obligations of the [United States](/usc/7/7202.md?p=15) as a member of the World Trade Organization, provide such advice and assistance to the [United States](/usc/7/7202.md?p=15) dairy industry as may be necessary to enable that industry to establish and maintain one or more export trading companies under the Export Trading Company Act of 1982 ([15 U.S.C. 4001](/usc/15/4001.md) et seq.) for the purpose of facilitating the international [market](/usc/7/198.md?p=1) development for and exportation of dairy products produced in the [United States](/usc/7/7202.md?p=15).
