# §6205. Permissive terms in orders


On the recommendation of the [Board](/usc/7/6202.md?p=1) and with the approval of the [Secretary](/usc/7/6202.md?p=14), an [order](/usc/7/6202.md?p=8) issued under [section 6203(a) of this title](/usc/7/6203.md?p=a) may—

- (1) provide authority to the [Board](/usc/7/6202.md?p=1) to exempt from such [order](/usc/7/6202.md?p=8) [limes](/usc/7/6202.md?p=6) exported from the [United States](/usc/7/6202.md?p=15-B), subject to such safeguards as the [Board](/usc/7/6202.md?p=1) may establish to ensure proper use of the exemption;
- (2) provide authority to the [Board](/usc/7/6202.md?p=1) to designate different [handler](/usc/7/6202.md?p=4) payment and reporting schedules to recognize differences in [marketing](/usc/7/6202.md?p=7) practices and procedures;
- (3) provide that the [Board](/usc/7/6202.md?p=1) may convene from time to time working groups drawn from [producers](/usc/7/6202.md?p=10), [handlers](/usc/7/6202.md?p=4), [producer-handlers](/usc/7/6202.md?p=11), [importers](/usc/7/6202.md?p=5), exporters, or the general public to assist in the development of [research](/usc/7/6202.md?p=13) and [marketing](/usc/7/6202.md?p=7) programs for [limes](/usc/7/6202.md?p=6);
- (4) provide authority to the [Board](/usc/7/6202.md?p=1) to accumulate reserve funds from assessments collected pursuant to [section 6204(d) of this title](/usc/7/6204.md?p=d) to permit an effective and continuous coordinated program of [research](/usc/7/6202.md?p=13), [promotion](/usc/7/6202.md?p=12), and [consumer information](/usc/7/6202.md?p=2), in years in which production and assessment income may be reduced, except that any reserve fund so established may not exceed the amount budgeted for operation of this chapter for 1 year;
- (5) provide authority to the [Board](/usc/7/6202.md?p=1) to use, with the approval of the [Secretary](/usc/7/6202.md?p=14), funds collected under [section 6204(d) of this title](/usc/7/6204.md?p=d) for the development and expansion of [lime](/usc/7/6202.md?p=6) sales in foreign [markets](/usc/7/198.md?p=1); and
- (6) provide for terms and conditions—
  - (A) incidental to, and not inconsistent with, the terms and conditions specified in this chapter; and
  - (B) necessary to effectuate the other provisions of such [order](/usc/7/6202.md?p=8).
