# §511o. Separability


If any provision of this chapter or the application thereof to any [person](/usc/7/511.md?p=a) or circumstance is held invalid, the validity of the remainder of the chapter and of the application of such provision to other [persons](/usc/7/511.md?p=a) and circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
