# §511k. Penalty for violations


Any [person](/usc/7/511.md?p=a) violating any provision of sections [511d](/usc/7/511d.md) and [511i](/usc/7/511i.md) of this title shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not more than $1,000, or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.
