# §4803. Pork and pork product orders

- (a) To carry out this chapter, the [Secretary](/usc/7/4802.md?p=14) shall, in accordance with this chapter, issue and, from time to time, amend [orders](/usc/7/4802.md?p=6) applicable to [persons](/usc/7/4802.md?p=7) engaged in—
  - (1) the production and sale of [porcine animals](/usc/7/4802.md?p=8), [pork](/usc/7/4802.md?p=9), and [pork products](/usc/7/4802.md?p=10) in the United States; and
  - (2) the importation of [porcine animals](/usc/7/4802.md?p=8), [pork](/usc/7/4802.md?p=9), or [pork products](/usc/7/4802.md?p=10) into the United States.
- (b) The [Secretary](/usc/7/4802.md?p=14) may issue such regulations as are necessary to carry out this chapter.
