# §3601. Definitions


For purposes of this chapter—

- (1) The term “Agreement” means the International [Sugar](#2) Agreement, 1977, signed at New York City on December 9, 1977.
- (2) The term “sugar” has the same meaning as is given to such term in paragraph (12) of Article 2 of the [Agreement](#1).
- (3) The term “entry” means entry, or withdrawal from warehouse, for consumption in the customs territory of the United States.
