# §2304. Disclaimer of intention to prohibit normal dealing


Nothing in this chapter shall prevent [handlers](/usc/7/2302.md?p=3-A) and [producers](/usc/7/2302.md?p=4) from selecting their [customers](/usc/7/24.md?p=b) and suppliers for any reason other than a [producer](/usc/7/2302.md?p=4)’s membership in or contract with an [association of producers](/usc/7/2302.md?p=2-A), nor require a [handler](/usc/7/2302.md?p=3-A) to deal with an [association of producers](/usc/7/2302.md?p=2-A).
