# §2009k. Rural development interagency working group

- (a) **In general—** The [Secretary](/usc/7/499a.md?p=b-2) shall provide leadership within the Executive branch for, and assume responsibility for, establishing an interagency working group chaired by the [Secretary](/usc/7/499a.md?p=b-2).
- (b) **Duties—** The working group shall establish policy for, coordinate, make recommendations with respect to, and evaluate the performance of, all Federal [rural](/usc/7/1991.md?p=a-13-A) development efforts.
