# §2006. Waiver of mediation rights by borrowers


The [Secretary](/usc/7/499a.md?p=b-2) may not make, insure, or guarantee any [farmer program loan](/usc/7/1991.md?p=a-10) to a farm [borrower](/usc/7/1991.md?p=b-1) on the condition that the [borrower](/usc/7/1991.md?p=b-1) waive any right under the mediation program of any [State](/usc/7/1991.md?p=a-6).
