# §1638d. Applicability


This subchapter shall apply to the retail sale of a [covered commodity](/usc/7/1638.md?p=1-A) beginning September 30, 2008, except for “[farm-raised fish](/usc/7/1638.md?p=2)” and “[wild fish](/usc/7/1638.md?p=7-A)” which shall be September 30, 2004.
