# §138i. Effect of other laws


Nothing in this chapter shall alter the authority of the [Secretary](/usc/7/138.md?p=5) of Health and Human Services under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act ([21 U.S.C. 301](/usc/21/301.md) et seq.).
