# §754. Use of existing resources


In establishing the [national preparedness goal](/usc/6/741.md?p=5) and [national preparedness system](/usc/6/741.md?p=6), the [Administrator](/usc/6/821.md?p=1) shall use existing preparedness documents, planning tools, and guidelines to the extent practicable and consistent with this Act.
