# §1002. Homeland Security Science and Technology Advisory Committee


The Under [Secretary](/usc/6/901.md?p=15) for Science and Technology shall utilize the [Homeland](/usc/6/101.md?p=1) Security Science and Technology Advisory Committee, as appropriate, to provide outside expertise in advancing cargo security technology.
