# §305504. Matching grants to Committee


The [Secretary](/usc/54/308101.md?p=1) shall provide matching grants to the [Committee](/usc/54/305501.md?p=2) for its [programs](/usc/54/308601.md?p=3) related to [historic](/usc/54/308601.md?p=2) preservation. The [Committee](/usc/54/305501.md?p=2) shall match the grants in such a manner and with such funds and [services](/usc/54/100102.md?p=4) as shall be satisfactory to the [Secretary](/usc/54/308101.md?p=1), except that not more than $500,000 may be provided to the [Committee](/usc/54/305501.md?p=2) in any one fiscal year.
