# §305306. Service preservation centers and offices


To improve the use of existing [Service](/usc/54/100102.md?p=4) resources, the [Secretary](/usc/54/308101.md?p=1) shall fully utilize and further develop the [Service](/usc/54/100102.md?p=4) preservation (including conservation) [centers](/usc/54/305301.md?p=2) and regional offices. The [Secretary](/usc/54/308101.md?p=1) shall improve the coordination of the [centers](/usc/54/305301.md?p=2) and offices within the [Service](/usc/54/100102.md?p=4), and shall, where appropriate, coordinate their activities with the [Center](/usc/54/305301.md?p=2) and with other appropriate parties.
