# §30123. Limitation on contribution of currency


No [person](/usc/52/30101.md?p=11) shall make [contributions](/usc/52/30101.md?p=8-A) of currency of the United States or currency of any foreign country to or for the benefit of any [candidate](/usc/52/30101.md?p=2) which, in the aggregate, exceed $100, with respect to any campaign of such [candidate](/usc/52/30101.md?p=2) for nomination for [election](/usc/52/30101.md?p=1), or for [election](/usc/52/30101.md?p=1), to [Federal office](/usc/52/30101.md?p=3).
