# §60124. Regulatory authority of Secretary


The [Secretary](/usc/51/60101.md?p=11) may issue regulations to carry out this subchapter. Such regulations shall be promulgated only after public notice and comment in accordance with the provisions of [section 553 of title 5](/usc/5/553.md).
