# §50923. Report to Congress


The [Secretary](/usc/51/50301.md?p=5) of Transportation shall submit to Congress an annual report to accompany the President’s budget request that—

- (1) describes all activities undertaken under this chapter, including a description of the process for the application for and approval of licenses under this chapter and recommendations for legislation that may further [commercial](/usc/51/50501.md?p=3) [launches](/usc/51/50501.md?p=5) and reentries; and
- (2) reviews the performance of the regulatory activities and the effectiveness of the Office of [Commercial](/usc/51/50501.md?p=3) Space Transportation.
