# §31503. Laboratory productivity


The [Administration](/usc/51/10101.md?p=1)’s laboratories are a critical component of the [Administration](/usc/51/10101.md?p=1)’s research capabilities, and the [Administrator](/usc/51/10101.md?p=2) shall ensure that those laboratories remain productive.
