# §3997. Distribution of information concerning benefits of subchapter

- (a) **Distribution of information by Secretary concerned—** The [Secretary concerned](/usc/50/3911.md?p=7) shall issue to [servicemembers](/usc/50/3911.md?p=1) information explaining the provisions of this subchapter.
- (b) **Application forms—** The [Secretary concerned](/usc/50/3911.md?p=7) shall provide application forms to [servicemembers](/usc/50/3911.md?p=1) requesting relief under this subchapter.
- (c) **Information from Secretary of the Interior—** The Secretary of the Interior shall furnish to the [Secretary concerned](/usc/50/3911.md?p=7) information explaining the provisions of this subchapter (other than sections [3991](/usc/50/3991.md), [4000](/usc/50/4000.md), and [4001](/usc/50/4001.md) of this title) and related application forms.
