# §2156. Regulations

- (a) **Requirement—** The [Director](/usc/50/2001.md?p=2) shall prescribe in regulations appropriate procedures to carry out this subchapter. Such regulations shall be prescribed in consultation with the [Director](/usc/50/2001.md?p=2) of the Office of Personnel Management and the Executive [Director](/usc/50/2001.md?p=2) of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board.
- (b) **Congressional review—** The [Director](/usc/50/2001.md?p=2) shall submit regulations prescribed under [subsection (a)](#a) to the [congressional intelligence committees](/usc/50/2001.md?p=8) before they take effect.
