# §1810a. Reporting requirements for civil actions

- (a) **Report to Congress—** If a [court](/usc/50/1881.md?p=b-2) finds that a [person](/usc/50/1801.md?p=m) has violated this chapter in a civil action under [section 1810 of this title](/usc/50/1810.md), the head of the agency that employs that [person](/usc/50/1801.md?p=m) shall report to Congress on the administrative action taken against that [person](/usc/50/1801.md?p=m) pursuant to [section 1803(m) of this title](/usc/50/1803.md?p=m) or any other provision of law.
- (b) **Report to Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court—** If a [court](/usc/50/1881.md?p=b-2) finds that a [person](/usc/50/1801.md?p=m) has violated this chapter in a civil action under [section 1810 of this title](/usc/50/1810.md), the head of the agency that employs that [person](/usc/50/1801.md?p=m) shall report the name of such [person](/usc/50/1801.md?p=m) to the [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court](/usc/50/1881.md?p=b-2). The [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court](/usc/50/1881.md?p=b-2) shall maintain a list of each [person](/usc/50/1801.md?p=m) about whom it received a report under this subsection.
