# §8962. Administrative functions

- (a) The [Office](/usc/5/5402.md?p=3) shall prescribe regulations to carry out this chapter. The regulations may exclude an [employee](/usc/5/4701.md?p=a-2) on the basis of the nature and type of employment or conditions pertaining to it.
- (b) The [Office](/usc/5/5402.md?p=3) shall, as appropriate, provide for coordinated enrollment, promotion, and education efforts as appropriate in consultation with each [qualified company](/usc/5/8951.md?p=5). The information under this subsection shall include information relating to the dental benefits available under [chapter 89](/usc/5/chptIII/sptG/ch89.md), including the advantages and disadvantages of obtaining additional coverage under this chapter.
