# §8961. Jurisdiction of courts


The district [courts](/usc/5/8401.md?p=7) of the [United States](/usc/5/7103.md?p=a-18) have original jurisdiction, concurrent with the [United States](/usc/5/7103.md?p=a-18) [Court](/usc/5/8401.md?p=7) of Federal Claims, of a civil action or claim against the [United States](/usc/5/7103.md?p=a-18) under this chapter after such administrative remedies as required under [section 8953(d)](/usc/5/8953.md?p=d) have been exhausted, but only to the extent judicial review is not precluded by any dispute resolution or other remedy under this chapter.
