# §8912. Jurisdiction of courts


The district [courts](/usc/5/8401.md?p=7) of the [United States](/usc/5/7103.md?p=a-18) have original jurisdiction, concurrent with the [United States](/usc/5/7103.md?p=a-18) [Court](/usc/5/8401.md?p=7) of Federal Claims, of a civil action or claim against the [United States](/usc/5/7103.md?p=a-18) founded on this chapter.
