# §3385. Effect on other authority


This subchapter shall not limit the [authority](/usc/5/7103.md?p=a-6) of the [Secretary](/usc/5/9901.md?p=2) to reassign temporarily an [air traffic controller](/usc/5/8401.md?p=35) to other duties with or without notice, in the interest of the safe or efficient separation and control of air traffic or the physical or mental health of a [controller](/usc/5/8401.md?p=35); or to reassign permanently or separate a [controller](/usc/5/8401.md?p=35) under any other provision of law.
